30P Base Extension: Question about the free pins and access via Blockly

Hi,
first I have a question about the 30P Base Extension:

  1. Are the pins, which are available with the 30P Base Extension free pins on the Arduino MEGA - boards insinde of the base of the uArm? I want to know if these pins (D-pins and A-pins) are not connected with an uArm-Funktion, so that can use these pins withe the standard functions like digitalRead and / or digitalWrite to connnect e.g. a senor to trigger action with the uArm.

  2. Can the ree pins (if they are free) be programmed with a function available in Blocky.
    For example, I want to read a digital signal on pin D39 and if it´s HIGH, the uArm has to catch an object withe the gripper on a programmed place (on a table). After that remove (for example) to reset und wait for the next HIGH - Signal an D39, and so on…

Sorry for the late reply.

  1. Currently, the digitalRead/Write function is not available. But we’ll fix that in the future version of firmware. Will keep you updated.
  2. The firmware doesn’t support that now. But it’s a great idea. Thanks for your suggestion. We’ll consider that.
