Firmware Version: 3.1.16
Operation System: Mac OSX 10.11.6
uArm Controlling Method: uArm Studio 1.1.13-p4
Using a constant works for all directions as in the first picture, but if you change the constant to a variable, the arm only responds to the positive directions - (forward, right, up).
Also, is it normal or is there a way to get around the arm extending as you rotate in the Y direction?

We already fixed this issue and uploaded a beta on beta.ufactory.cc
If you’re in a hurry, you can try the beta first.
If not, you may wait for an official publish after complete testing. Thanks.
I am using uArm studio 1.1.13-p4 and the most recent beta is 1.1.13-p3 as far as I can tell.
Not sure what version you are referencing, but it is not fixed in 1.1.13-p4

Hi @SamWiseTheG
When you use variables in your commands, please make sure the program execute the "set x " first.
That is, you have to press H first before pressing any other key events.
Hi @Cleo ,
I do not think that is the problem.
This is running uArmStudio 1.1.13-p4 and firmware 3.1.16
As can be seen in the javascript, by the red rectangles, those directions are not set even when x is set first.
I’m using 1.1.13-p4 and am having the same problem.
Blockly will not respond in the negative direction when using a variable.
In my program the arm will move up when I press the up arrow key, but will not move down with the down arrow key. I have set the variables correctly.
When will this be fixed?
Thank you.

hi @SamWiseTheG @Richard_Siderits
Sorry I made a mistake. The bug is fixed in the latest beta version, which is not released yet.
Now we’re testing the next version of uArm Studio.
It will be released at the end of this week.
Sorry for the trouble.
Would you mind giving me an update on the next release?
Thank you.
