Grove gesture sensor on uArm Swift

uArm Serial No.: (the No. at the bottom of each uArm reading “UARM-04021700CC”)

Firmware Version: latest as of 20 august 2018

Operation System: Win10

uArm Controlling Method: uArm Studio 1.1.17

Hi there

I want to use the Grove gesture sensor block in blocky with a Grove Gesture V1.0 which is connected to my uArm Swift (non Pro) on the I2C port on the side of the robot base.

But i can’t get it to work in uArm studio. It seems to generate no input. I have verified that the Gesture sensor works on a Arduino board.

Any suggestions??

Hi, what’s the firmware version of your uArm Swift Pro? 3.2.0?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!

My arm is a non Pro version. uArm swift. FW is v2.3.6.

Shouldn’t i be able to connect the Grove gesture sensor to the plug on the base of my non-Pro uArm swift??

In uArm Studio i get the message “Pin: Gesture not detected. Gesture Sensor”. I can confirm that the gesture sensor gets its 5V supply voltage through the Grove plug.

Hi, if your prodcut is uArm Swift(not pro), pelase download uarm studio 1.1.13-p5 here: https://www.ufactory.cc/#/en/support/
