Lite 6 end-effector 24V supply

Hi folks,
on the Lite 6, is the 24V supply on the 8-pin end-effector socket current limited (internally protected)?
In other words, could the arm wiring be damaged if we tried to draw more than 1A?

At the moment we’re limiting current draw to 0.5A on the end of the arm - but we’re wondering if we could remove our current limiter if the 24V 1A supply is already protected.

Hi Pete,

We have the current protected and will not burn the end effector, you can remove the current limiter.

thanks for the reply - we were just limiting the current to try to protect the arm wiring - will remove that and wire it straight through.
