Hi, after operating the arm for 3 or 4 hours in a room with a temperature of about 22 degrees, the arm becomes quite hot and appears to shutdown. The only way of recovering seems to be switching off, letting it cool down for 45 minutes, then switching back on.
Is there a way of turning off the motors programmatically to allow the arm to cool down for a few minutes every hour to avoid overheating? Even with the arm not moving it seems to get hot, so i’m guessing the motors are on all the time.
Ideally we don’t want to hit this limit and have to manually power off, wait, power on and restart all the software. We’d rather pause it for a few minutes to cool down if we have to, then carry on.
thanks, Pete.
