Lite 6 wiring and USB-C socket

Hi folks,
we just bought a Lite 6 which has an 8-pin end-effector socket. We’d like to attach a camera which draws a max of 0.5A at 5V. Do any of the pins connect directly through from the analog connector on the base? Could we use those for 5V and control signals?

Also i can’t find anything in the manual about the USB-C connector on the base, can we use this, is there any documentation?

Many thanks, Pete.

Hi Pete,

You can use 24V, but need to connect a step-down module to reduce the voltage to 5V.
The USB-C is only for internal use, thanks for your understanding.

Best regards,
Minna

Hi Minna,
thanks, i know we can use a DC to DC converter, was just hoping there was a couple of wires going to the end-effector that connect directly to a socket on the base rather than going through an opamp or logic.
I’m guessing the answer is no?

Hi, No, please use converter.

OK Minna, thanks for confirming - we’ll stick with plan “A” and use WiFi + a DC to DC converter.
