New Uarm Swift Pro will not connect to my Mac

I just received my Uarm Swift Pro. When I try to connect it to my MacBook running OSX 10.9.5, studio (10.1.12) just reports the device as disconnected. The Mac hardware page shows that the device is connected via USB. There are no log files since the device isn’t connected (Studio doesn’t even have the menu item to examine log files).

This makes the Uarm completely useless - a $550 paperweight.

Hi, sorry for the problem. Some of the problem are caused by the latest version so please try the old version first.

BTW, we have also found that, some backers with old version of Mac OS might also cause the problem. If it’s possible, please upgrade the OS.
