Should I upgrade firmware, plus linux command line instructions?

I have received the SwiftPro which reports the following:

device_type: SwiftPro
hardware_version: 3.3.1
firmware_version: 3.2.0
api_version: 3.2.0
device_unique: 6CC374F66C28

Is there a compelling reason to upgrade the firmware ?

If so, where do I find instructions for upgrading via Linux command line ?

Many Thanks,
Smit-Tay

From user perspective, I use the newer firmware. The newer firmware doesn’t seem to support all of the uArm peripherals yet, but the newer firmware makes the movement smoother and faster. I don’t think the positioning accuracy is sacrificed with this increased speed. If you are using the uArm to do a chore for you, speed of course will make a difference.

You could check the difference here: http://download.ufactory.cc/docs/en/firmware%20guidance%20v1.0.9.pdf

Hi, I think a useful monitor is very important at this time. Maybe you can try TFT LCD. I’ve used it before. It’s really an excellent monitor
