uArm Swift Pro and xArm 6 Communication

uArm Swift Pro (UP1300)

Firmware Version: 4.9.0

Operation System: Win 10

uArm Controlling Method: uArm Studio

I am trying to get a uArm SwiftPro to communicate with an xArm 6 using a digital output signal so I can wire them together to be able to signal each other to do moves at specific times. Is this possible using Blockly in uArm Studio? Or do I have to use something else like the Arduino library or Python to program specific pins?

I have tried using Grove command blocks to see if I can trick the uArm into creating a block that will send (on/off) signals but they always become disabled when I turn on the uArm.

I have only used Blockly so far on the uArm and want to know if Python or Arduino is a better approach to my project.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Grego,

We have stopped selling and maintaining the Grove Kit, the firmware version V4.9.0 does not support Grove.
For double confirm, you could share the entire SN of the uarm to support@ufactory.cc, we will check. The SN is attached to the bottom of the uArm.

Best regards,
Minna
