uArm Swift pro not recognized

Hi,
I have 2 uArm swift pro, tried to use uArm Studio both on Mac an Windows, and they are not recognized… I can’t do anything. They are connected, with USB, and recognized as an arduino 2560 on Windows 7, and as nothing on Mac… any suggestions?

This is in order to update the firmware of one of my uArms, as i tried to upload the SwitfProforArduino library, and I encounter some movement problems… not as soft as the second one… jerky…

Thanks
M.

Hi,

Please report detailed info of the errors here: Customer Feedback Form

I have the same issue, 2 new uArm Swift Pro’s, both don’t move and are recognized as Arduino Mega 2560 on windows 10. Did you find any solution? I have the feeling it might have installed the wrong driver?

(I sent in the customer feedback form.)

Thanks for filling the form.
We’re still locating the problem.
It may be caused by an error of compiling or the serial port being occupied.

will try to fix that asap. Sorry for that.

Thanks for a quick reply!

Now I opened the serial monitor of the arduino IDE, and got this:

`start

Specially the line “No power connected” sounds bad? Also is it ok that it writes all this stuff about being a 3d printer, while I don’t even have that kit and haven’t told it to be a 3d printer?

Can someone explain to me without JARGON what i need to do to connect CURA TO UARM SWIFT PRO ?

Removing my posts. They seem to have been related to other issues on my system. I was able connect successfully.

Sajid_Khan, please start a separate thread for your question, it is not related to this one.

[solved]
uFactory has helped me solve the problem. The arm didn’t get enough power because I was using an adapter piece to convert the plug to a european powerplug. When I replaced the black cable with one that already has the european plug on it, the arm started working

OK,
I already use a european schuko cable, my problem doesn’t come from here…
Any idea?
Thanks,
M.

got this with the arduino serial monitor:

Thanks.

Hi, I have a same issue.(studio cannot recognized) I checked data by serial monitor. but Text is as below

<t839+p0 <g ’WLORW#a_

Arduino-IDE detected it as MEGA2560. but uArm-Studio didn’t. You said your problem is related with powerplug. Can you explain more detail ?

Hi JunHo,

We already received your log files. We’re dealing with it.
Your situation is different with Niels’s.

Hi,
I think your team got many error cases about connection-problems. Some cases are resolved and other cases are not. So, if you can share some resolved cases, it can be helpful to users. I think that many users are developers or engineers. So, users can try with suggested ways and feedback about that …

Thank you

Hi, we already posted some FAQs on our update on Indiegogo Page.
More FAQs will come out, and we’ll post them on our website.

We’re communication with some users with the connection problems. Updates will be posted too when it’s solved.

Where can I get FAQ pages on indiegogoPage ? I can’t find it.

It’s not a page. It’s included in the lastest update we posted.
