Vibration and main bushing

I have significant vibration in the movement of my arm between the base and the main bearing (the bearing that the whole robot rotates about). It has been getting worse. I have attempted to attach a video but it say the file type will not work.

I tried tightening the very center, bottom screw at the bottom of the base (the one that connects the base to the bearing), but it causes the robot to vibrate event more when it is the robot is stationary because it cannot find the position I have moved it to. Loosening the bolt causes the movement itself to vibrate.

I am teaching my robot to paint a 2D surface… so the vibration is causing the lines in the painting be wiggly. Anyone have ideas? My next idea is to dismantle the base and grease the bearing? Thanks for your advice.

Thanks,
Joanne
