I consider uArm Swift Pro to fit my project the best, but need 500mm range instead of only ~300mm available. Weight to be lifted is rather small (50g at most), but need accurancy ~1mm.
Is it possible to make my own extended arms and reassemble uArm Swift Pro without losing it’s accuracy? What other implications apart of decreased lifted weight and accuracy degradation do you envisage?
Hi, my case was not stated clear enough.
I need arm to operate on a square field 45x45cm. It can’t be placed in the centre.
Rail gives an additional dimension, but only one. Making a set of rails around the field sounds like overkill for me.
I wanted to put it on wheels to do infinite sized (x,y) 3D prints. How accurate can you make it though? It would need to move with sub-millimeter accuracy unless autolevelling could compensate for it
