Incorrect xArm model in uFactory Studio

I’m trying to set up my new xArm 7 (Model: XS13, S/N: XS130508D43A30) with the AC1200 control box (Model: AC1200, S/N: AC1200R412H151Y010057) that I previously used for my xArm 6. However, in uFactory Studio, the xArm 7 is being detected as an xArm 6, which limits control to only six joints and the range of motion is severely limited.

I also attempted to connect it using a newer AC1300 control box (S/N: AC130306A4006D) but encountered the same issue.

Is there a specific step required to initialize the xArm 7 properly? Alternatively, is there a way to manually change the model in the uFactory Studio software to allow control of all seven joints?

Hi Grego,

You need to reflash the firmware for xArm7, please refer to the link below, choose xarm7-type7.
