No more connection to the robot after update - xArm 6

Hello all,
We are having an issue after updating our robot and controll box to firmware version 1.9.0 from 1.7.0 using the update tool xarm-tool-gui-0.9.57, and using the offline packages for updates.

After the update we are unable to connect to the robot using uFactory Studio. All we get is " Failed: server is not ready". It worked without issue before the update. We can still ping the robot at the usual IP adress.

Has anyone experienced this before ? Or can anyone give us support on how to revert to the previous firmware ? ( we have tried flashing the oldest firmware included in the update tool package which is 1.6.9 with the same results)

Thank you for your reply on the support e-mail and here. Just wanted to also post in the forum so the community can chime in if they have an idea for resolution. And people with the same issue could reference this thread in the future.

So yes, we can still successfully ping the control box on the usual IP adress. However it will not connect using xArm studio.

Hi Jan,

Please download the xArm-tool-gui from the google link, enter IP to connect, and see if it can read xArmStudio version.
If not, please refer to the user manual Appendix 4 to re-install the xArmStudio, and take a screenshot of GUI output if still problems.
