Hello, I am trying to reset the robot’s IP. According to the manual, I need to connect RI0 to GND using a cable. I am unsure whether I should remove the existing cable and then connect RI0 to GND or use an additional cable to make the connection. If I need to remove the existing cable, I am having trouble pulling it out as it seems stuck. Could you please clarify the correct procedure and provide guidance on how to remove the cable if necessary?

Hi, you can remove the existing cable and then connect RI0 to GND.And you’ll need a tool to take the line out, something like this.

Thank you for sharing the video.
I followed the steps shown, but unfortunately, the reset still doesn’t work on my side. Here’s what I tried:

  1. I removed the original cable and connected RI0 to GND.
  2. After turning on the control box, I heard one beep (the same beep as when normally powering on).
  3. Then I removed the power terminal as shown in the video, but no additional beeps occurred.
  4. I waited for about a minute and tried to connect to 192.168.1.111, but it failed. UFactory Studio showed the message: “Failed: Server is not ready”
  5. I’ve already set my PC’s IP address to 192.168.1.x, so I believe the network settings are correct.

Also, just to clarify, the reason I attempted to reset the IP is that the robot’s original IP suddenly stopped responding. It used to connect fine to my PC via Ethernet, but now the controller doesn’t seem to complete the usual startup process.

Could the failure to reset the IP be related to the controller not booting properly in the first place?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
What is the SN of your control box? Is there a 1+3 beeps after the controller is turned on, which means the control box startup successfully. Or can you record a video of the operation and send it to me?
